Preventive Care

We will maintain your whole family’s oral health through comprehensive preventive care. With regular oral hygiene care and one-on-one instruction, we not only help prevent tooth decay and periodontal disease, but we give you the skills to maintain your oral hygiene at home. Let us be your partners for a lifetime of beautiful, healthy smiles!

Oral Hygiene and Screening Visits
Regular oral hygiene and screening visits help keep your mouth in pristine condition. We thoroughly clean your teeth to remove plaque buildup from around the gum line, thereby reducing your risk of periodontal disease. We also screen for and diagnose oral health conditions, such as tooth decay, teeth grinding and oral cancer. You can trust us to keep every smile in your family clean, healthy, and beautiful!

Patient Education
We consider our relationship with you a partnership for maintaining superb oral health. To make the most of this partnership, we give you the necessary skills to care for your teeth at home. With personalized instruction in prevention and homecare techniques, you’ll have the information and skills you need to keep your smile clean and healthy between dental visits.

Periodontal Therapy
Periodontal disease, also called gum disease, is a common affliction among children and adults. In the earliest stages, the disease is called gingivitis, but left untreated it can escalate into advanced periodontal disease. When plaque trapped below the gum line hardens into tartar, it can irritate gums, causing inflammation, irritation, and when combined with bacteria, infection – also known as periodontal disease.

If periodontal disease strikes, we will act as your first responders by scaling away tartar buildup, then planing the tooth surfaces below the gum line to remove areas prone to buildup. Diseased gum tissue may require irrigation and Arestin antibiotic therapy to promote healing. Late stage periodontal disease could necessitate gum tissue grafting, in which case we refer patients to a periodontist. Gum disease is the leading cause of adult tooth loss in America, and it has been linked to heart attacks, strokes, and complications in diabetics and pregnant women.

Sealants and Fluoride
Dental sealants and fluoride treatments protect young teeth from tooth decay, keeping smiles healthy and beautiful for those cherished school photos!

We apply dental sealants to the surfaces of back teeth to form a protective shield from invasive bacteria and food particles. This safe and comfortable preventive measure takes less than 30 minutes to apply and can last up to 10 years.

You may already know that fluoride is an important compound that strengthens your teeth and protects against cavities. If we think your child could benefit from a fluoride treatment, we may suggest a quick and easy fluoride application in our office.

Restorative Dentistry

We restore damaged smiles to a beautiful, strong, and fully functional state. From simple to complex dental reconstruction, our clinical team has experience in a wide range of restorative dental procedures. Don’t tolerate decayed, chipped, or missing teeth – ask us how we can rejuvenate your smile!

Restorative options include:

Crown and Bridgework
To replace missing teeth, we first attach crowns to the teeth on either end of the gap. On these crowns, we can anchor single or multiple false teeth, called a bridge. Bridges are crafted in a dental lab for a pleasing appearance, natural fit, and optimal oral function.

CEREC One-Hour Crowns
You can have permanent, quality dental crowns in one hour! With CEREC, we can design and mill your permanent restoration in our office and place it at the same visit. That's right! No follow-up visits, no temporary, no hassle. You can have a crown, or even an onlay or inlay, in just an hour. Call us today for more information, or read more about CEREC technology here.

Dentures and Partials
A complete set of strong teeth give your smile a youthful, healthy appearance and make proper chewing and clear speech possible. If you are missing several teeth, we can outfit your mouth with full or partial dentures teeth that fit comfortably and function naturally. Modern dental materials allow labs to create dentures that look like natural teeth. A solid smile will enhance your quality of life and boost self–esteem!

Endodontics
An endodontic procedure extracts damaged nerve tissue within the canals of a tooth and replaces it with a manmade substance. The nerve tissue, called pulp, can become infected and inflamed due to extensive tooth decay – and this can cause significant pain. We can perform a root canal to remove the diseased pulp, clean the root canals, and then fill the space with a permanent filling. As invasive as this may sound, we keep you comfortable throughout each phase of the process with our special patent comfort measures. With today's analgesia techniques, many patients doze off during root canal therapy. If we recommend endodontics for you, the only other option is extraction.

Fillings
Cavities must be filled to prevent decay from spreading. We offer a variety of filling materials, such as amalgam, composite resin or CEREC to meet your unique needs. Our long-lasting fillings preserve the biting surfaces of your teeth without interfering with natural function.

Full-Mouth Reconstruction
Let your smile make a glorious comeback with our comprehensive full-mouth reconstruction procedures. We will work with you to ensure a stable foundation for your dental work and design your ideal smile. With experience in extensive restorative dentistry, we can bring even the most damaged, worn, and deteriorated teeth back to its natural, healthy appearance and function.

Implant Restoration
Permanent dental implants offer a solid option for single or multiple tooth replacement or as support for dentures.  Working with an implant specialist we can restore single or multiple implants to return your mouth to full function.  Implants are rapidly becoming the standard of care for the replacement of missing teeth and are commonly used where bridges have been used in the past.
